Just so you know.. Back in the day.. A lot of money changed hands at a dragstrip.. 5-10k change hands in one race a few times.. But your right.. I want you to think I'm cool, so I'm coming on here and making up a story because I'll never see you but you'll think I'm the coolest guy out there, because I made up a story about a race and winning 5k.. Don't get out much in Colorado huh??

Barstow is just one of the many stops in where I live.. Working as a military contractor now has me move a lot.. Still there is the phone number.. The name of the owner, at the time one of the guys in my club.. Call for yourself and he'll give you the same story

I cannot agree with this more. The guy should have been called out. The bullying was unnecessary. Everyone in this video is a douche.

This is ridiculous, i had a time attack evo with 500whp that was built for time attack. I took it once to the track to get a base line and it ran 11.2 @ 123 MPH with a huge ass wing in the back. If i took out that wing probably spent another 4k i would have had a 10 second car :p. I really dont find it fascinating when the car does most of the work and you have to spend money to be faster. Sorry but im great friends with a shop owner who builds 1/4 mile evos and all i see is times improving when they drop more money into the cars...... Im sorry but all this talking about straight line is getting me bored....

It was a Time Attack Built Evo X with a Huge as wing in the back and 500WHP, ran a 11.2 @ 123. So a little japanese sedan with stickers and a big wing tuned for corners ran a decent time

Decent yes, but honestly its not hard to drive a car that runs double digits, shifting is pretty normal no real challenge.

My point is not to be an ass, but that a truly FAST car is not just point and shoot like some tend to think and all the "fast car straight, fast driver turns" shit pisses me off because it is usually said by those that have never driven/raced a fast car on a drag strip, have those same people even attampted to launch an 800awhp twindisk car on slicks? no. has any of those people tried to shift at 10,000rpm in the blink of an eye? no. my point is, the drag VS autoX **** measuring shit has to stop its apples and oranges.

Hell, one could argue that driving a road course on Forza is easier than the drag tracks. Just saying.

True that, although I have to say my awd race car is harder to launch consistant than my mustang was.

Its not as easy as you would think, it bogs down if you don't rev it enough and you get turbo lag and if you over rev it all 4 wheels would spin way too much. I just find it relatively easy to get a good time by dumping a lot of money into a car, plus you have to deal with snapped axels etc. To each their own but drag racing is not my sport, i find it to easy.

Here are the JMS Evo's the guy driving the black one is the guy who i beat in my own car. Both silver and black evos are from JMS Racing.

LOL! Not to be a troll or anything. but you'd still be driving a relatively slow car compared to the v8 crowd with same mods. Actually I wont even get into how most of that you listed will NOT make your car faster.. in any way.

Save yourself the embarrassment and just let the guy talk his shit and move on. You'd be just as bad as that other guy for entertaining or thinking you're deceiving him. Be the bigger man and ignore it. Likely his woman isn't happy with him anyway and he's a closet bed wetter.

I've got a local buddy here that already had a douchebag stang owner roll up and get his attention just to tell him he had a slow car. As if having a fast car really matters anyway when you're sitting in traffic with everyone else. My buddy ignored him.. I'd have just replied with "yep, its def slow but you should see the size of my junk! " Or I'd have just waived my lil pinkey at him.

This car isn't for goin fast, its for enjoying the ride at whatever speed you're going.

Most of the mods I listed have a track intention not drag as well some are to increase throttle response.

actually, all the shifting in the blink of an eye, and 800awhp stuff is pretty typical stuff at the circuit.
