What about the Mercury Grand Marquis, that thing was about as bland as my grandfathers d*ck!

My friend has an early 2000 model SE focus, it can take the corners pretty well. Surprised me.

Don't forget the SVT!

It's possible.

No way. The Omni GLH and GLHS were great.

Here's my vote:

Third generation Ford Taurus. Took what was a good car and made it all around mediocre. Also, the changes to the SHO model and resulting terrible sales figures because of them were the nail in the coffin for the SHO.

I had a dodge caliber as a rental for 3 weeks. Horrible CVT, horrible gas mileage, ugly, poor assembly, uncomfortable steering wheel, cheap assembly. The car was brand new.

No, people don't understand the term Mediocre. Mediocre doesn't mean bad, it just means...average, something that isn't special but isn't bad.

What you posted is a bad car, not a mediocre one.

What Wingsofwar posted is spot on.

- No luxurious features, but isn't shit for quality
- No performance bragging rights, but isn't slow
- No economical benefits, but doesn't guzzle gas
- Aesthetically dull design (interior & exterior) but isn't ugly
- the lifespan/durability/reliability has a set date of 150k-200k miles before consider replacing the entire car.

i'm going with Lexus SC430 (the convertible one).

for what it was trying to be, a japanese SL500, it was truly mediocre in comparison.

Ford Escort. The '99 I had, while slightly above average reliability, excelled in nothing else. A mediocre car, but not great.
