Eibach Sportline or Pro-kit (still deciding) and 18x9.5 gun metal Rota Torque with 235/40/18 modest stretch, Injen intake, Invidia downpipe, soon..
You'll get to see my Prokit then. Supposedly what I'm hearing from the experts is that any more drop than 1" (prokit) would negatively effect handling and a good set of coilovers would be the best bet (like KW v3).

Thanks everyone for coming. Looks like my guess at a short meet (7pm-730pm) was helped out a little from mall security ending it 5mins early. I now have the mall manager's number so I can get this type of thing approved in the future though.

Thanks to the people that came that had aftermarket exhausts! We got to hear the TRD exhaust, the Invidia N1, and the Invidia Q300. Also got to see a 5ad body kit, my red led interior lights, Eibach pro-kit, and a couple sets of wheels I haven't seen before that I can't remember the names of.

My impressions of the 3 exhausts I heard today. with 1 loudness being stock and 10 loudness being comparable to a stage 2 Lotus Elise exhaust or catless STI. In this range I prefer something a little louder like around 8 on the scale (ala VW R32 unresonated which is pure sex by the way).

Invidia Q300 was probably a 2.5/10. It was quiet and doesn't draw attention at all. Has a nice tone to it though. If I wanted something more on the quiet side but not stock quiet I'd consider this.

TRD exhaust was probably a 4/10. It was quiet when RPMs are in the normal daily driver range. When RPMs increase then it was a little louder but not 'loud' per se. It's a good one if you like inbetween quiet and lound. The exhaust tips are flat on the bottom and round on the upper half to contour the rear nicely.

Invidia N1 was probably a 6/10. It was pretty quiet when RPMs were low. Just a weee bit louder than the TRD at daily driver RPMs (2k-ish). When you give it a decent amount of gas is when it starts to get noticeable. Not too loud in my opinion but may be too loud for sensitive people, when not keeping the RPMs low that is.

I've also heard NickFRS which has a straight pipe from Nameless Performance which I would put at a 7 or 7.5. I'm guessing it still had the cats in it because it really wasn't as loud as I thought it would be being a mufflerless pipe. Not sure if he still had the mid pipe resonator either which may have made it less loud than expected as well.

All these of course would be louder with a sport cat, catless, or unresonated setup. However catless is illegal and a pain to install/trick O2 sensor and unresonated usually adds drone which I don't like because headaches while driving = no fun. Can't wait to hear unequal length headers with cats when they come out. I see Borla has one out now but it's catless so I'm not interested.

Overall the twin cars seem to have nice deep tones and more on the quiet side, for being a 4 cylinder car on all the exhausts I've heard.

On my N1, cruising speed at 2.5k RPM going about 65 ~70mph, there is no drone at all. Since we were on a watch, I only brought it up to about 4.5k RPM at that lot, and it gets a bit louder after that.

I really liked the TRD tips, but my personal preference is a bit louder, although with CAI and headers, I bet it will sound different.

I enjoy the small progression of modding I see with people, that to me is the most enjoyable part. Feeling the small difference each parts you put in the car, rather than doing it all at once.

I was bummed to hear that there are so few E85 stations around here, but instant swapping to O91~94 from E85 without all sorts of ECU mapping sounds tempting. Its probably the easiest power gain per/$ you can do, and less emissions.

The five AD kit was sick though! First time seeing it in person. I WANT IT NAO!
