I should post pics of my black GSXR... The tank is horrible... I have no idea how people with black cars keep them clean and scratch free..

google = dent removal compressed air. See videos.

Looks like that dent is a prime candidate for this method. Its cheap and you can try yourself, got nothing to loose.

I don't care.. Lol
DONT DRILL MY BUMPER FOR MY STATE REQUIRED PLATE OH NOES

This forum does seem worse than others about this kind of thing but I think it is because every owner on here has a brand new car and other forums I've been to the cars have a large span of ages.

Right now my car is covered in salt and probabaly has some nice new slat rock chips in the front bumper but I'm not gonna lose sleep over it. And if someone hit it while shoveling I won't even cut their throat.

Why are those two getting their panties in a bunch about an owner that cares about his car? When did that become a bad thing?

Let's say that instead of BRZ you would have a brand new Ferrari, right? And let's say your neighbour hits it with the shovel putting a nice dent into your brand new car. Regardless of how much is going to cost you/him to fix the dent, please dont tell me you wont care. You see, for some owners here, their brand new car is like a Ferrari to them, or like a baby/girlfriend/ etc. While you might not care about your car, maybe you care about other things, so i would like you to think about the thing you love the most, and than think about your reaction if someone would put a dent/scratch/bruise/cut/etc into it.
We as humans, have this tendency to attach to material things sometimes more than it is necessary. In the same way we attach to people/pets/etc ,with a different level of attachment. So it is normal for some to be upset mate. They care about their investment.

I would've got the name license plate and any info I could to have them fix it.. If I came out to my car and seen the dent.. I doubt I'd do anything.. There was a post about some guy chasing down someone because a rock came up and hit the windshield and cracked it.. To me that's over board.. And I've had to replace the windshield once and got a new crack in my new windshield.. Scratches from the car wash.. Guy put the window cleaner bottle on the roof and scratched it when he took it off.. I guess I can see the frustrations.. But I've always been one that shit happens.. Like I said I was pissed when the guy backed into my car.. But took about 2-3 mins of me walking away to cool down.. Then got even more pissed when he tried to blame it on me for "hot rodding" my new car around.. That took me awhile to get over lol

^I second this.

IDK who would chase someone down because their window got chipped by a rock while driving, because that is clearly accidental. But if someone damages your car or any belonging for that matter because they just dgaf, it is just rude and inconsiderate. These are probably the same people who drive like inconsiderate A-holes, because they think they can do as they please and no one can touch them. They will probably continue to be this way if no one does anything about it. Yes it is just a car, but some people like to have their nice things stay nice. It's cool that some people drive beaters or don't care about their own car, but it ultimately comes down to respecting others around you. It probably doesn't help that i live in a city full of idiot A-holes, and i have a slight anger problem (probably due to the fact that i grew up here). More power to you for not caring if someone damages your material items. My new years resolution is to be less angry

"They care about their investment" whether that is a financial, sentimental, etc investment.
Yep, things do happen by mistake and yes, no one is to blame when little accidents happen, but when you have someone that is not considerate about other people's goods than we have a problem.
When I had some A hole opening his stupid beat up ute's door into my previous cars' door, (and not saying anything, not even "I am sorry buddy") I asked him politely if he noticed that there was a car next to him and if he's got insurance. He said yes and he didn't care. Obviously at that point, anyone would get mad and close the dented door over his head but instead I took his number plate, and had it fixed through insurance (it cost me nothing) so he had to pay 600 bucks out of his pocket (he didn't have insurance).
