Speaking of sedans the new Avalon actually looks pretty good if you were interested in that type of car.

who really knows what it will look like in the end. Look how far off our frs/brz was from the 86 concept. But I definitely agree the corolla needs to make a change if it wants to keep up with the trending 4doorsporty thing people like these days...

The Yaris is the new Corolla.
The Corolla is the new Camry.
The Camry is the new Avalon.
The new Avalon is just something new.
The Corolla have not changed much in the past 7 years, so I will assume this will be the next gen Corolla.

Is this a rendering or actual photos from Toyota?

I'm pretty sure this is an actual photo. I was at a training seminar at Central Atlantic Toyota in the beginning of December and they showed us pictures of the new Corolla and the new Tundra. This looks exactly like the picture they showed us except it was a 3/4 view from the opposite side (front end facing left). I found this picture on Google. I tried to find a picture on Google of the new Tundra but none of them looked like the picture they showed us. I'll admit that I didn't look very hard though, just a quick search.

Toyota Shares New Photo, Not Much Else of Furia Concept

Quote:
From the looks of things, Toyota does not intend to show us its new Furia Concept in its fullness before the car's world premiere at the Detroit Auto Show on January 14.

Instead, the Japanese automaker continues the teasing with a cropped shot of the sedan's rear quarter revealing its bubbly tail lamps and carbon fiber boot lid spoiler.

The only piece of information we get from Toyota today regards the way the automaker will present the Furia at its Detroit motor show booth:

"It will be revealed using a custom-built structure housing thirty of Samsung Display’s new 46-inch transparent LCD screens," the company said in a statement. "Toyota will be the first automotive company to use this technology to reveal a vehicle at a major international auto show."
While Toyota may be coy about the Furia, we believe it may hint at the design direction for the new North American market Corolla sedan.

Ruskymx

In the near future when I know I need to be up early for work the next morning but I just can't seem to fall asleep, I'm gonna pull up this picture on my phone.

Its a rendering. the donor car is a European Toyota Avensis. It actually looks mostly like that, but the front end was modified a bit in the chop.

The Avensis is actually quite nice looking and i always wondered why that never turned into the Corolla....apparently its a bit bigger than a corolla.

IMO the Corolla is going to look like a sedan version of the 2013 Toyota Auris (A Euro hatchback thats pretty much a renamed corolla hatch)
