(all that is only worth about $1200, over priced)

Plus people pick the Scion FR-S/GT86 because the front looks more aggressive and because of the heritage (the reason they made the car) and the side fender (86 emblem).

I'd rather spend that extra cash on a HKS exhaust and intake and AXIS spoiler which is a better upgrade
Nav with full bluetooth streaming and hands free with live traffic updates,Fog lights.led daylight running lights Full HID headlights,Push to start, keyless entry for the doors and trunk. Courtesy Lights in the doors. Heated mirrors and washer fluid sprayer. Sound deadening material thru out the car. Dual climate control. Heated seats. Leather trimmed seated with Alcatrara inserts. USB is under climate control not in glovebox. Styling of the spoiler is actually a new design unlike the one on the fr-s which has been available on the tc for quite some time. I'm sure the list would go on even further but those are the only ones that come to mind. Also when approaching the car it lights up for you with out pressing any buttons.

I would say this is all worth the extra money. Now if your gonna just mod and race then the fr-s is a better option.

I agree its all up to which one appeals to you and what you want to do with it.

On a side note though...
Fr-s also has streaming bluetooth, handsfree, keyless for doors and trunk, usb is also under the climate control (tho i agree ive heard/seen a charge port glovebox option which i too thought was brz)

I may be wrong but in a car cabin this small i dont know how much of a benefit dual zone climate control really is. Also, and aside from the price and the styling differences, the reason i chose the frs was i have no use for the options that make up the difference, and the lack of all of them is what makes this car what it is for my personal preference. If i wanted anything more bare i would have gone for an exige or built a stripped out track car, if i wanted more bells n whistles (and there for more weight and price etc) i may have looked at other cars. Again, just my personal thoughts as to why the frs was my choice

You no argumenting? <-----lol....

Like I said before I wrote it because if everyone knew that, they wouldn't say, "Oh it's a FR-S/GT86? Isn't it a Subaru?", therefore your statement, "how everyone knows" is not true, it's a logical fallacy lol!

I guess my point is you come and post it in a forum that is about that exact car, it would have made more sense in another general car forums. It's like going to a corvette forums and saying your engine is a GM! What kind of response did you expect from owners? Anyway I'm done here.

Look under the hood, your insurance paper and transponder paper work it says, "Toyota". The only reason why it's under Scion in North America is sales are declining for them and it fits under their current car lineup. It's more of a sub-brand.
B-b-b-bu-but-but but the fender and t-t-t-th the the door and the r-re-ee-re rear d-d-d-di-di diff differential and tranny says subaru.

This thread is pointless, reminds me of those people calling their Acura RSX a Honda Integra and some people arguing that, "you drive an acura, not a honda" bullcrap. Same car, different market, dont give a damn, subaru toyota scion whatever name makes you happy stick with it.

I have no problem with it being a Scion I have no plans to re-badge mine instead I answered the question most people asked me "what is it?' I know that Scion really had very little to do with the car but that's the name on it and I'm fine with that.

Scion had EVERYTHING to do with the car, cause scion = toyota. That would be like saying chevy had nothing to do with the cts-v. Scion is literally just a brand name used in the US to market toyotas to a different demographic... At least thats what ive understood its for...

Scion was a separate company working on Toyota property when they first started they used alot of Toyota parts but where independent when it came to design. Toyota bought them but they still sit in different buildings on the property.
