Perhaps we should as a group find out how much it would cost to rent Zwartkops for a day (maybe in the week if cheaper) and split the cost evenly. It could be like our very own Ferrari day but far more exclusive...

We could also ask sav to get in touch with Toyota SA and see if they would be interested in sponsoring an event as surely it would be great publicity for them. Involve the right media aswell. Also this will mean we all have 86's and there won't be any other misbehaving cars.

Safety is crucial! The only damage allowed is from the gravel traps - no car contact allowed

I think you'd have a heart attack if you know what it would cost to rent the track for a day. It's the track + paramedics + marshals + misc staff & facilities. Not cheap at all.

I've asked Toyota about a track or skidpan day but I haven't gotten any further feedback.

Received my mud flaps that I ordered of eBay. Took about 2 weeks from order to delivery. Total cost around R850. Interesting is that they are made in Canada and are oem parts in toyota packaging.

@Kev01: Who did you order form on ebay? I got the following response from a seller that had a note that he doesn't ship to ZA:

Dear joumasehoes,

Hello!
Thank you for your note. Yes, I have quoted shipping several times to SA but never sold. USPS just raised prices 1/27 20%-40% depending on the Class. The most cost effective scenario would be to take advantage of economy of scale: I can ship up to 5 of these Kits in one package to you & your T86 friends via USPS EXPRESS for $95.00 (that's only $19.00 apiece); compare that to the $65.00 cost of shipping one and you have a very good deal. I welcome your thoughts. With best regards, Eric

I am extremely impatient so just fitted them. A bit of trial and error to figure out which screws go where but it's done.
Bought mine from here but I see shipping has gone up. I paid $71 shipped.

Hi Guys,
I received the mud flaps from US ( eBay ) after two months of waiting for SAPO to pick up their tools again. I read the installation bulletin and I am not sure I want to drill the holes . Is there somebody who would take on this job to fit them for me ?. I don't mind paying for the labour.

Thanks
