Going From a Honda Prelude to an FR-S. I think that this is what the Prelude should have been, and performance wise, the FR-S should be a smidge faster than the Prelude

Can't wait.

Cheers mate. I have an RSX too, albeit an auto. Even though with upgraded suspension and reflash it's a bit better than stock the FRS should be 10 times more fun hence would be a perfect next car

I had a torquey G35 which I recently sold. Now I'm behind the wheel of a 0-60 in 9.0 seconds Suzuki SX4 til the FR-S comes out. Should be enough time for the FR-S to redefine my concept of "fast."

I say get rid of your Supra now and drive something slow to maximize the "wow" factor when you finally get it.

Same.

(Except I have an 88...so I stay at the same weight, but gain RWD, 70 horsepower and 20 torque.)

(And trustworthiness)

I was on the fence too because I love supras ( heck I have owned 4 over the last 13 years) but I think it is time to move onto something different, and I could use the $ for a few other projects adn some mods on the FR-S ( TRD package )

What you’re describing sounds like the thoughts of someone considering trading their crazy fast muscle car for a considerably slower, but more agile sports car. I get that. But I don’t understand where you’re coming from when considering that you drive a 1994 twin turbo Supra. You don’t drive a muscle car; you are already driving an agile sports car. I mean, isn’t the handling of those cars as equally amazing as the acceleration?

Maybe I’m wrong, and I just don’t know much about Supra’s? Are they more of a straight line acceleration car rather than a great handling sports car?

It is, the car is awesome on every level, but it is a super GT type car and I'm looking more into a "drivers" car. yes the car is fast, yes it handles awesome, it get lots of looks, yes it drives great, but I want a car the "feels" fun at lower speeds, to be honest the supra has a heavy feel at times.. not all the time, just sometimes. Again I love these cars, I just want a change, it's a personal choice I think, which I have been thinking about for a while now... It was either the FT86 or the 97+ NSX ( which is a drivers car as well.)

Its true, the Supra does handle amazing, and its a great car to drive, But sometimes I miss my integra, because it was nimble easy to throw around and you didnt have to be going that fast, in the supra you need to be moving a bit quicker to get the same feeling, either way I love the Supra. It was always to be a Toy car for me personally, and Now i am graduating school next year and It will be the perfect time for my first new car purchase. I dont need practicality my girlfriend has a 4 door, kids are no where in the future, So 2 sporty cars works for me!
