I live vicariously through my friends' pets and children so that I may fully enjoy my four-wheeled obsessions. I'd love to have a nice dog someday, though.

totally agree on this

I spent a couple of grand trying to give my pet one more chance for survival but alas the liver damage was far too great. I'd give a couple grand more to have my little buddy around again.

Good logic. If something bad happens to that dog, it's extremely unfortunate but it's not on your conscious about having to pay all the medical bills.

Sorry to hear about this man. I really hope your pup pulls through. My wife's a vet tech, so I know a bit of what you're dealing with.

For those who may not know, vaccinated adult dogs can carry Parvo. Puppies are especially susceptible until they've had all of their Parvo vaccinations and boosters. Typically that's at about 16 weeks. This is the reason many dog parks prohibit dogs under 16 weeks.

Best of luck,
Brett

Man, hope your dog will be OK. I had to put mine down earlier this year in March. I would gladly give up my car to get my dog back. Miss her a lot....

Not everywhere but in USA vet services are ridiculously overpriced, much like the rest of the medical industry.
