BTW any more info on the turbo kit that wietzes? LOL
I don't understand their approach either (DVN).

I haven't followed up with Wietzes about the turbo kit, doing so will just make me want it more. I wouldn't count on anything before spring though, I'm sure they'll install it on their demo and rack up km's before offering it for sale with warranty.

Weird, Justin didn't even ask for payment at all until all the initial paperwork was already signed to place the order. The only hiccup was that I forgot my CC and couldn't put the full deposit on my debit card, but both himself and the sales manager were fine with less than a full deposit.

Is Jason the tall skinny guy? If so, he's the second guy I dealt with there. Definitely knew his stuff and was super easy to deal with. Had I dealt with him first I probably would've bought from him. Him fitting into the back seat of their demo was enough proof that the back seats are useful in a bind

+ So if you are expecting your new car soon, probe them anonymously, ask for a test drive everyday having your friends call in of course and visit their lots to see the condition of your car, etc.
I couldn't even imagine beating on a customer's car before delivery, or letting someone else drive it. I would love the insurance nightmare if it was hit on a test drive by someone other than dealership staff!

Mine had 12km's on it, which I felt was fine considering round trip to the closest gas station is about 8km's from the dealership and there's no way it came off the truck with 0km's on it. I also wasn't concerned because they have a dedicated manual demo (properly plated and owned by the dealership), and I think they have a permanent auto demo as well. Their manual demo is white with the 5axis kit, different wheels/tires and coilovers.

He's a nice guy, easy to deal with but he probably asked for my cc to test if I was a flop. Too bad.

Yes I think so, totally agree, very easy to deal with. I would of got from him too but I couldn't wait. He's a popular guy.

Yes I test drove 9 FR-S, 5 of them were people's car, so 55-60% of dealerships do it, how would we know right? lol

12KM is good! For sure 0 is impossible. Isn't there a gas station on dufferin/Steeles? Is there a way to see if they pump premium gas? Luckily Canadian Tire is next to Woodbridge Toyota, they use gas with no ethanol (for Premium)

What a loser! Why would you talk down to your potential client? Honestly in my books, anything over 15km has been test driven/drifted. I just walked out (he was confused) don't come here EVER, almost as bad as Maple Toyota
Sucks to hear that you had a bad experience here. I found Newmarket Toyota to be very professional when I bought my FR-S. Pretty quick turnaround time on the order too. Who did you deal with there? Al, the Irish guy, would be the man to go to here. Never dealt with the manager myself, though.

I know they've had the two demos sitting in that lot for the longest time (the asphalt and argento ATs). I first checked the car out mid-June and they were there.

I forgot his name, thank GOD! He was so desperate to get ride of them and tried to push it on me (and tried to sell it like a PORSCHE). Too bad his sales technique didn't work. For sure I'm going to write a letter to Toyota Canada and post on all the forums when I find his business card.

Got called September 12th, car went into production (FINALLY) ... However still no word on when the car will be delivered.

Anyone here order theirs around the same time (or later) and any news on your car? Not looking for those who bought and picked up next day, but those who ordered and it went in around that date.

Brian did an awsome job, one of the best price too. I didn't take much pics as it's raining constantly, but the car looks like a mirror. I believe Brian took some pics and he will post it on facebook soon
