Uh oh those 2 engines look like they have the same dimensions, there goes my hope for continuously variable valve lift, unless they did something completely crazy.

But thanks for the pics! So shiny lol.

Hachi, always a treat to see your pictures . But I see that you forgot to watermark .

I saved them for later viewing. Hard to see through all the shinyness but at least I can see the sparkplugs now.

I can almost guarantee that if you're expecting xxx amount of HP you will be disappointed. This car is getting a N/A 2.0L. I know that they were shooting for 12lbs per PS(2% more than BHP) way back but I am counting on it being a light weight chassis more so than a higher powered engine .

The Toyota concept comes with 215/40/18 along with a multi piston factory big brakes option. It's hard to tell for certain what kind of clearance that BBK will require, but from the looks of it, I am not convinced that 17" wheels will cut it.

That is honestly kind of sad because I think high performance tire selection is better with the various widths in 17".

cut down that long pipe and less lag, you wanna rotate the throttle body 180 like this

Most WRC STI do it and also some of time attack STI also
Nice! Don't mean to open up the flood gates but could mean a possible turbo setup later on down the road?

Also, I like where the oil filter is positioned! It's like of like the current Tacoma and makes changing the oil a breeze.

Perhaps I'm old-fashioned, but I rather like the oil filter being next to the drain plug on my RS. Having said that, I don't mean that the new design is bad; it's just different than what I am used to. If there is any benefit other than accessibility, someone please let me know.

Achieving that would make me very happy. Providing of course it's under 2750lbs.

For one thing THATS ALOT OF CHROME! haha!
When I got the email this morning I was hoping that the BRZ to have let say a real body. Whats the hold up we now have a concept of the FRS and two concepts of the FT-86 that have even been featured in Gran Trusmio 5 (my reason for lovin the car) now I know the ins and out of showing a car before its offical final model but why do I keeep seeing this glass case.

If they want to keep me glocking at it well they did a good job because I so desperately want to see what the body will look like and we all know the end model will look nothing like this glass cover....or will it.

C'mon, you don't like to go down on the ground and get dirty?

Still gotta get under there to get the oil out of the oil pan. Unless you want to get a straw and suck it out through the the oil filler spot.

Yeah, at least on my truck since it's lifted, I can roll around from shoulder to shoulder on the floor compared to changing oil on a lower car. The older Hondas were the worst, right dead center behind the block.

I4 FF cars are nightmare to oil change! That's why I love boxer engine. Even the older model it was on the bottom, so I don't have to twist my arm or make much mess.
