My original point was that of the "stock shifters" I have driven, including BMW's and Porsches, I haven't found much difference. Having said that I do now run a slightly modified slick shift gate, so that helps also. |

Regular UK/Euro S60... The original owner as an option had the T5 put in it. The car would scoot up to speed but it felt as if it weighed 6000lbs.

Agreed. There is nothing cooler than hearing the click clack metallic sound as you shift. The shifting is actually smoother than you may think.

This is one to suit a VW Golf. They end up quite thin between the gates on most normal non-supercar gearboxes
