For reference, my garage is on a very minimal decline and my doors would close on me anytime I was working on the interior with the door open.

After the installation, the door has 3 different positions that will hold the door in place and not close from the weight of the door.

I recommend this part for an improved quality of life in a 2013 FRS with 50k miles!

Did my gen 2 driver side check today, the difference is profound imo. Possibly because my oem door stops have 170k miles/9 years on them. It feels like I’m opening up the door to another car.

However there is an unexpected negative: my side mirror shakes like crazy when I close the door! Will most likely need to replace that as the plastic connection between the upper and lower mirror pieces is worn.
