Totally agree that the value here is that they've included these cars along much more expensive ones, and specifically said that they didn't feel that BRZ/GR 86 were lesser cars.

Having said that, they should throw away all those numbers given with "up to hundredth of a G" numerical precision if even the tenths of a G's can't be trusted.
I laugh every time some research shows that 28.5714285% of people are xyz when they actually mean simply 2 out of 7.
