Ask your dealer where you are in their line. Do you know if its a Trivett dealership? They do all imports for Subaru, and my guess is those dealership will have the greatest allocations.

My guy told me there were 500 cars being delivered from Jan-June 2022. With about 2-300 pre sold already. Subaru's email also mentioned 500 cars. Orders outside of this 500 may not arrive until 2023. Not sure how much of that is true.

No confirmation here either but my order was in early Tuesday before the website/articles for orders went live so I'm assuming I'm in that lump of 400 pre-orders before sales opened.

Its 500 up till june, perhaps he is thinking of the financial year?

I would hope at least double that allocation june-dec next year, surely.

If not this car is going to be as rare as hens teeth!

Rumours are Toyotas initial volumes are very low as well.

Got this from a different salesperson (same dealership) today.


There is a limit of only 500 for the brand new MY22 BRZ which is estimated to arrive May/June 2022.

We are expecting this will be the only batch of BRZ for the whole year of 2022 so DON’T MISS OUT!!!!

Over 80% of the initial 500 BRZ is already taken from the pre-orders.
