With map switching count me in, the video was impressive. With our compression ratio this seems like a no-brainer. Watching back to back and eyeballing it, it looked almost a second faster 20-100 than the current stg 1 tune

I'd love to run E85, but the nearest station that sells it, Logan airport, is an hour drive one way.

My plan long before my car was even delivered was to have a separate aluminum fuel cell to be able to switch over to E85 whenever I wish.

I guess an easier way to go about things would be to buy a couple of metal gas cans and fill those up to use at a later date.

These are, of course, the ramblings of a crazy man. Moral of my rant, definitely interested in corn

What is the impact on engine life with these cars running E85? I'm concerned that they're not designed for E85.

you said that you were going to add timing after the base e85 got hammered out does that mean there's more power to be made on e85!?

I think my baseline was pretty much all the gains I'm going to get in e85.

Right now I'm working on the best way to give the car additional fueling for e85.

There's a few different way to do it and I'm just working on the best way to do it.

I can understand if this were a 2002 WRX but you guys are all in a hurry to put E85 in when zero durability testing has been done on the valves or the fuel system.

Umm why would you under stand if it was a 02 Wrx ?

The worst thing that happens to these cars is the fuel filter gets pissed off when switching back to pumpgas..

My STi has this problem but any issues go away after 30 min of driving.. This is also on a 640whp car

It could be any old car with conventional engine. Replacement parts are cheap and nobody owes the bank a bunch of money on the vehicle.

How could you possibly know that? What about high pressure fuel pump or injector failure ? What happens if these fail in a year or two?

Your STi has a very different engine in it. It's irresponsible to tell people that nothing could go wrong when you have very little data to back that up.

This isn't my first time putting e85 in a car with a high pressure fuel system.

In fact never had problem to date.

No one is forcing you to put e85 in your car

I'm having a problem hold power after 7200rpm... Maybe it's the stock catback?

Aftermarket exhausts show the same drop-off.
