I find PFC pads very livable on the street.

I’ve used Raybestos ST45 and ST47 track and street for over 3 years. I taper the pad edges and use high temp grease to prevent noises. About the only bad thing is the front rotors get eaten away a bit quickly. I had used one fluid (Motul 600 maybe?) and I’d start to get a bit of pedal travel change later in track sessions. I’ve been using Prospeed fluid lately and pedal is rock solid for extended sessions. I also trimmed the front dust shields slightly and have some Porsche air deflectors to get a bit more cooling, but I’m not sure if they help much or not. Cheap though. It’s pretty awesome to be able to trust the brakes as much as I do, and I notice being able to brake much later than others on track. Definitely find a solution to prevent that from happening again!

My current set of CSG pads with Brembo fronts on my turbocharged brz is on track for about ~30 days of life on track. |

XP10s are livable on the street if they're well bedded, Gloc R10 is a similar compound. Happy with mine as an amateur pad, I couldn't keep them bedded so they were noisey for me, you track more than I ever did so might be ok.

I'm running Michelin PSS now but planning to switch to Federal 595 RS-PRO (I know these are not very good but there are some competition related constraints). Should be stickier than PSS. The question would be which one of those 3 (or other suggestions - up to 250$) would be best for trackdays but still streetable

Go with stock rotors, steel brake lines, RBF600 (or similar) and Ferodo DS2500.
I've tracked a lot with that combo without issues, and stil daily driving the car. |
