This is pretty much as close to a good answer for "Gazoo" as I can find, which really sucks because it doesn't actually tell a story about what Gazoo means to Toyota.

In a nutshell, Gazoo Racing is entirely driven by internal employees and passions and that spilled over into motorsports and other activities. Only after a while did it become part of their official racing program.

It's still weird because even hardcore motorsport enthusiasts like me are still confused by TRD vs Toyota Racing vs Toyota Gazoo Racing...

I think they just want to make a global version of oem preformance part supplier. So toyyota Gazoo stuff will be the same the entire globe in every market.

No more TRD US /TRD japan stuff since they don't get to pocket everything that way. Gone are the days ppl thought TRD US and TRD is the same when it's actually totally different.

I've no idea how they managed to make center exhaust look that bad.

I did a walkaround of the car at Mega Web back in January:

Edit: keep in mind this video is of the zenki 13-16 chassis. Kouki version will probably receive a refresh in terms of looks... who knows if it will be better or worse.

Visible engine mods here. Mostly look like intake manifold and air intake. Seen this last year. Don't know if any internals or mapping was changed. Most likely a map with the exhaust and intake changes.

I don't actually like the stock FR-S/BRZ diffusers much. The GRMN one looks like an improvement to me. I do agree that single exit looks a bit awkward though. A dual tip might improve it.

The only thing truly ugly about that car is the price tag.

Hate that GeRMaN centre single exhaust, it kind of ruins that diffuser imo
