New Tie Rods Needed???

Having a knock sound on abrupt level changes/bumps.

I "think" I need shorter end links...

Raised the fronts a bit and re-did the preload on the coilovers to make sure everything was in order. Checked all bolts too.

Final Result:

The sound lessened but it's still there. Everything else seems fine and drives nicely.

How she sits now :-)

Extra NVH is to be expected with a spherical bearing and no rubber in the top hat. You'll hear little clunks and pick up more vibration from the road no matter what.

Meant to say end links. I have had coilovers on many cars and this noise isn't normal. Pretty sure it's just the OEM end links are too long.

Megan Strut Bar

New part arrived. The construction feels similar to most other strut bars out there. I don't anticipate any issues with it. I'll report back once installed and drive for a bit.

MY Meister R coilovers came with adjustable endlinks so I imagine I made them shorter than stock. Should be the issue but I'm no expert

Whiteline End Links and Ramps

Couldn't wait for the SPL ones so picked up some Whiteline ones. I'll chime back in if it fixes my front suspension noise problem.

Ramps :-)

i have those same hub rings and wheels. The tolerance is just off enough where they make a faint metal clink sound on bumps in the front.

Swift Spec R Springs

So I had my 2017 stock suspension laying around the garage and I thought I'd put it to use on my "simplified suspension setup". More to come later on that :-)

Swift SPEC R

Spring Rate: 4.4K Front / 5.3K Rear
Drop: 1.1" (28mm) Front / 1.0" (22mm) Rear
