Install a Whiteline SHifter Bushing. It's 30$ish and install isnt too hard. I did this when my car had about 500 miles on it and i've never since then had an issue with shifting into gears. Doesnt matter the weather.

Hmmmm.... Interesting. I have done the Perrin rear shifter bushing, The Mtec shift springs and even the Mtec clutch spring. I ordered all of that stuff together along with a Whiteline bushing. Its the only one that hasn't made it in yet. I was being lazy and didn't want to drop the exhaust (I didn't have an extra gasket... yeah, that's it!)

I guess I should install that!

hehe I have had this gearbox bushing on both my cars and still have the cold weather hard shifts. It is a worthwhile upgrade but I don't think it will cure all gearbox shift oddities.

Takes a long time for the syncros to lap together. Longer if you're gentle. I got really good at double clutching. No regrets.

It also gets a lot colder in Colorado than sunny San Diego. I think the coldest it got this year for them was like 50 degrees lol

Colorado has more sunny days in a year than San Diego does It doesn't really get cold here that often, contrary to popular belief (in the city).

But, I even have the "cold" shift issues in like 40* mornings, which is pretty normal here in the winter. True though, that it gets worse the colder it is.

I have this theory that they're afraid to do it because, along with the expense of the sender, too many people would freak out over 7 psi at idle.
