I thought Canada was getting 50 of them?

You'd blend in with the taxis around here.

Valid point! Even here to some extent but not nearly so many. I will stick with the orange I guess.

I love the yellow, but I hope they continue with actually providing us with sports car colors.

The Series Hyperblues were said to release in the fall of 2015... and about 99% of them all were released + purchased within the month of August.

Here's the link displaying that... http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=103271

"You will also find the initial production date of each Series.HyperBlue as well the first city the vehicle was retailed at."

No. They were BUILT in August. Most were purchased well into 2016. Velo was one of the very first and that was in March. So about 6 months after they said they would be released people got them. That puts the "winter" release sometime around July if they follow the same schedule.

Oh crap. haha I didn't read it correctly; apologies for the wrong info. :p
So based off that data, should we assume we won't be get these vehicles until around mid 2017? o.O

God only knows (and some guy at Subaru I guess). They may be on time but "winter" is a pretty broad window really. Once somebody gets a VIN and we can see the date of manufacture then we can have some more informed speculation.

They are not talking about them because the info is internal distribution only at this point. A month ago a sales manager did show me a recently-received email from head office specifying how the Series Yellow will be equipped in Canada.
I will not name the dealership here since he was breaking the rules in doing so. The 50 are coming, unless Subie Canada has reversed itself in the last month.

I contacted one of the dealers via e-mail today, and he said that it is possible to put in a deposit.

Here's what he said: "you can place a deposit which would reserve our first (and possibly our only one) for you. Once we receive the car into our order bank we can register it as a sold car with Subaru."
