It could very easily, but for simplicity sake, I plugged the bi-xenon high beam wires directly into the oem drl/high beam wires, essentially making that oem bulb useless and just filling a hole. Should I chose to use it, I'd simply use a 9006 splitter and plug it in.
I left it chrome because if you don't, it kinda just looks like a black hole in your bumper.
The strips are tapped into a fuse and are always on with the car.
