If your friend is like most of the Altima drivers I've come across, don't bother.
He'll only be focused on two numbers: 200 vs 274.

This might be true since he refused buying a Miata because horsepower

This answer really is subjective. All depends on what you favour in terms of looks/interior/differences in things like steering feel etc.

Most on this forum are 86/BRZ/FR-s owner (like me), so my opinion might be biased, but 3 years later and I still love my car. Driving it is still lots of fun, and I only own 1 car.

I think it's down to the magic ratio 'power to weight'..

I was surprised that most of people here didn't know "Touge" because FRS/BRZ is really good at it.

I did my first autoX with the FRS. I had done one with the GenCoupe and that was not a good car for it. But the FRS.... wow, this car is awesome. I'm loving it more everyday, it is just a better car.

Anyone who actually asks this question deserves a Genesis Poop.

Their price is lower than most cars with the same power. Which gives them higher hp/$ ratio. But everything else is bad.

The big problem with the Gencoupe will be the brakes in a touge. I've never done one but I've seen videos and a downhill run like that will expose the #1 issue with a Gencoupe which is the brakes
