I don't think an aftermarket uel will make less top end than stock. Maybe if it had a potato stuck in it.

Though, he did manage to eliminate the TQ dip with his fancy catback! So he's ahead of the pack on that front.

All aftermarket headers are way too aggressive and loud for my taste. Same reason why I never touched the header in the Subaru. I like quiet setups.

Have you tried a UEL header with a stock exhaust? I was bored the other day and put my stock exhaust back on and it's not much louder than stock. Honestly, the Q300 was louder. I'll post a clip later.
