I'm not questioning your choice, I think its valid.

I would say I don't know that the bold above is correct though. I believe the designer's original intention is blacked out, since it is that way on the other models and (I believe) on all the concepts. The original design also most likely had the LED DRLs as an intended design item. Most likely the bean-counters corrupted the design. Just my opinion from a non art major prospective.

Dadhawk, you are correct, i looked at the original design, you are spot on, and bean counters made more than one mistake with this car.

Nope. You can leave them or disable as you wish.

OMG ColHolm that looks AMAZING. Wow!

If I order this kit (which is becoming a strong possibility) I am going to black out or colour match the main part of my lights to my car, it looks too good not to do, and we already have the light taken apart.

The only thing I am worried about is the baking/taking apart the headlight. Scares me

I know what you mean, but it really isn't that bad of an install (including the baking part).

Yes, I am very impressed with the whole kit.

I just need to figure out why it's interfering with my radio reception.

Nope. It retains stock operation. You can even have double high beams if you wish.

Buy extra sealer if you worry about the baking process, and have an excellent quality philips screwdriver to torque it closed after rebaking. I even threw back in to bake then retorque and pull on the lock tabs back even.

Where would you suggest I buy sealer from? I think that would be a good idea to pick up. Thanks! (or just the name/brand/type of sealer)

Now I know for sure what I want to do

black out but leave the chrome ring around the projector is what I'm going to go for

now if only my clears would come I can get started...

No problem!

Yeah, I had planned on leaving some chrome accents in the housing, but fter about 40 mins of ****ing around trying to get a clean tape line I gave up and went all black.

Maybe my fingers and hands are to chubby to be dextrous enough to get it done, but I'll warn you - it seems easy in theory, but is extremely difficult in execution. Best of luck! I'll be super jealous if you are successful.
