Got the headlights wired up last night to function how I want them to. Now I won't be driving around blinding everyone at night. Couldn't be happier with how these headlights work. They were worth every penny!

Now I'm already getting antsy to order my suspension. I will force myself to wait a couple months to make sure it's a smart move financially, but I really feel once it's on coils the look will really come together. I also can't wait to feel the performance benefits as right now I have noticed being able to upset the suspension fairly easily with mid-corner bumps.

(Thanks again to 86 Sessions, Toyota of Olympia, and The Ridge Motorsports Park!!!)

I love the way they look! I was afraid they wouldn't look aggressive enough, but I realized that they are the perfect blend between aggressive and subtle that matches my build very well!

Before people ask too many questions: 18x8.5 Rays Gram Lights 57Xtreme in Sunlight Silver, 5x100 lug pattern, +45 offset, Michelin Pilot Super Sports 235/40, Black Muteki SR35 closed-end locking lugs.

On to the pictures! I am hoping this can be used as a guide for anyone who is considering this same setup, as finding pictures of this setup was difficult for me; most people are running either 9.5" or staggered.

Right after they were installed at Les Schwab! (The numbers on the car are from the track day):

Tried snagging a picture from behind to show how much more rubber there is than stock. Feel like 235 is a good amount for this car:

He has 4mm gap before touching what? Is he running 18x9.5? Mine are only 8.5 which helps on the clearance of the struts. When you start running 9.5 with stock suspension, it is recommended to have a lower offset (wheels further out from the car) to help clear the spring perch, especially in the front. I believe 9.5 fit just fine in the rear.

Here is a helpful link for checking clearance: http://www.frsproject.com/

Oh interesting. Maybe his is closer due to the camber? Overall, I've never heard of anyone having fit issues with these wheels, especially with 8.5.

The L's on top are representative of where the fender is. You can set one side to be the stock wheel and the other side to be the wheel you are considering and see how different it is. If it is relatively the same spec, you won't have much of an issue fitting it in there. When the site originally loads up, it already has stock specs loaded in.

Nice build have you considered the Winjets as alternatives to the GT86/Monograms you can do 5500K Morimoto's HID it still does the job very well at night.

Yes I did consider the Winjets at one point. What held me back was a few things:

I plan on keeping the car for awhile and heard the Winjet housing craps out after a year or two. I'm a firm believer in do it once, do it right.

Just because you can put HID bulbs in the projector housing doesn't mean it's meant to be like that. You will never achieve the same light output as a housing that is intended for HIDs. Night driving is a regular thing for me so I didn't want to skimp out on this part.

Long story short - yes, Winjets are a cheap alternative and look nice. But you get what you pay for and I haven't taken any shortcuts yet, why start with my headlights?

I hear you on that one wink there's always the 17 headlights conversion 😊hopefully it'll drive down prices of the Monogram and RS HIDS

Well since I've already done the headlight conversion I'm all set. The headlights hardly changed price in the last year. Doing a conversion to '17 headlights might be a little more difficult as it integrates the blinker. Not my cup-of-tea but more power to those who want to take it on! I don't think the price will change for the previous model headlights. Someone even suggested to me they might go up in price as they become more rare? Guess only time will tell.
