The paint protection film is supposed to be pretty good stuff, but I've never seen it on a vehicle before. See if the dealer has a car on the floor with the film already installed so you can actually see what it looks like.

I saw it on the cars in Long Beach, in fact the FR-S below has it on it. The film had a small Scion logo (clear embossed) on the corner otherwise I would have never seen it. A bit later there was enough dirt the piece on the hood (its about 18 to 24" from the front edge if I remember correctly) you could detect the edge but that was really it. YOu can sort of see the line to the left of the hood. There was a LOT of dirt piled up there that would not normally be.

The side pieces were not detectable at all unless you were really looking for them.

I'm seriously considering it for mine given the price.

Congrats again man! I'm jealous.
Thanks man. You'll get yours soon, too.

I was thinking about adding it, but it wasn't a port option. Maybe it will be a dealer option.

My dealer told me the ship will arrive on 5/7, so I'll have my car within two weeks unless the corp. holds it until the offical release day.

Basically, this means the 1st shipment for Bay Area will be arrived on next Monday.

Yes, but keep in mind he's not getting it for another month.

All the first 86'ers should get their car during May... The first being in just hours from now...
