Correct, and thanks for adding the info. I forgot to add the release date to my previous post.

Here's a pic of the cat from a Japanese mag I got awhile back. If you read the advert, it's there for emission testing and inspection purposes.

Oh wow, that is crazy that they managed to cram a tiny cat in there right at the collector.

It's like the cat in my motorcycle collector.

That tiny cat is placed after the sensors so it's definitely not there to prevent CEL issues, and if it's there to pass inspection, I really wonder if that's gonna count as "legal"? Does the law specifically state what size of cat you need to have?

You're never heard of HKS!? You must be new to the import scene, LOL.

In all seriousness, though, to each their own and like I've said before I'm all for supporting American industry because it's what makes our nation great but it's hard to say no to the amount of history and R&D that HKS has already established when they introduce products.

Yeah, this is the first import I've owned since the 1991 Honda Accord EX I got when I was 16, lol.

Owned a 97' LT1 Formula Firebird, GMC V6 shortbed truck, and a '02 Camaro SS 35th Anniversary Limited inbetween those 14 years. Trying to catch up with the crazy aftermarket this car has.

Bumping this again. Release date for the US was supposed to be over a year ago, what gives?

Haven't heard another UEL header that sounds the same as this one, but $1500 is a bit steep to have it imported.

Honestly, the Boxer spec manifold is designed more for acoustic purposes than performance. Although, you will see a gain with the header and tune package most of the power gains will come from the tune.

The other manifold designs offered by HKS will produce more power than the boxer spec manifold. Dyno comparisons should be available once the tune is firmed up.

This is true. There is a slight possibility the manifold will be available on it's own. We are presently discussing the possibility.

Really, any decent manifold along with other modifications will require a tune to produce max performance. HKS has been working on the flash editor for US vehicles for quite some time which is part of the hold up.

Why is that crazy?

Any product developer worth its salt will have an engine dyno for endurance testing. The amount of actual testing / development HKS does is more extensive than most manufactures I've dealt with over the past 19 years.

This is a new system for the car named "Legamax Sports"

You don't have to replace the whole bumper. The exhaust includes new "garnish" pieces to clear the quad tips.

I also believe the O2 sensor retain pre cat location.

You can view the release here.

I just received my HKS Super Manifold with Catalyzer Boxer Spec Headers and the instructions are in Japanese. Is it possible for you to translate it?

use google translate camera function. it really helped translate the japanese TRD instructions to install the aero kit. I find the camera feature works better than copy pasting actual text from the pdf over into google translate
