Brings to mind back in HS, when I used to prep new cars at my Uncle's Chevrolet dealership.
Oh, I was very careful about "unwrapping" them ...... just like it was going to be MY new car. One spring day, my Uncle noticed me prepping a car just like this ....... and asked me if I would like to drive it to the prom........ Oh, yes, I was hot shit ....... however, that night, I found out it took more than a fancy car to get into a girl's panties ...... humfrz |

I got the same line about the plastics needing to be removed to inspect for damage - which if there is any damage, you could see on the plastic too, if not better than the paint - but I went along with it. But I made absolutely sure they did not send the car through the wash station. Car was dirty AF when I picked it up, but detailer mentioned it was easy to work on. Not sure why some dealers don't want to do less work for the same price...
