Yeah I ran ours for like 700 miles and loved it. The car has a great sound when you turn the volume up. Even with the header and the overpipe we got a ton of comments from the locals around here about how great it sounded. One of the gals who works at the deli here in town literally came up to me the day after I put it on and asked "Is that the new FR-S? It sounds AWESOME!" Yes, new FR-S. No, not stock exhaust. I was pretty surprised at her reaction, it's not quiet out the back with the full exhaust and straight pipe. It does sound great, however. Sounds especially good when it's tearing around the twisty roads in the Columbia River Gorge chasing our Genesis 3.8R with full dual helmholtz muffler delete. The two cars are almost exactly an octave apart in exhaust tone and regularly hit a harmonic point during our last drive out to a meet. Very fun.

Those pictures are from someone who just ran the car on a track after just taking the muffler off...
Another guy was running a muffler delete he made himself and melted his bumper a little, but it could have been attributed to material or length or something. I ave had zero issues with the nameless delete. |

Lately I'm thinking about the dual-tip nameless delete, with a magnaflow muffler to replace the resonator >.<

Resonator delete sounds horrible in this car. It makes it sound as raspy as a fart can. Take your time and spend money well spend on a proper exhaust.
