A couple of things about Sunday's autox.

There have been a few cancellations, so if you are sitting on the fence or like to give autox, or even like to bring a friend to co-drive your car, here is the link for registration http://www.azbrscca.org/events/registration.php

I also just discovered how to turn off all of the nannies except for ABS (which I want for autox anyways) Here is the link for the Pedal dance http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...ht=pedal+dance

Please do not line up at the gate, park on Camelback, or in local neighborhoods. If you get there early, find a place to chill far enough away from the sit. Some of the locals are looking for reasons to shut down AMP.

Sound checks and morning operations:
Here's the process that we'll be using in the morning...come in, get checked off the waiver list, sign the waiver and then roll into paddock. Unload your stuff, get registered and move your car to tech. At tech, your car will be checked to see if you have an AMP sound sticker. If you have one and pass tech, move your car back to paddock. If you don't have one, your car will be checked to see if your intake and exhaust are factory spec. If you are stock and you're not a Z06 or Viper, you'll get your sound sticker and pass tech. If you are not stock intake and exhaust and don't have a sound sticker yet, once you pass tech, your car will be directed to the track where we'll stage them for sound test past the track meter. Sound tests cannot begin before 9am, so leave your car and keys there and walk course if you wish. Then, we'll do our mandatory drivers meeting at 8:45am. Once we hit 9am, sound tests will promptly begin as we also begin running group A with group C working. Cars will get one pass past the meter at the top of 2nd gear then progress off the track. Cars that pass sound will receive their sticker. Cars that fail will have to significantly improve/change their intake/exhaust or will not be granted a retest. Passing cars will go back to paddock or into grid.

Course map: Will be posted on line by Saturday night. If you want a copy on site, print one at home or use your smartphone. We're not guaranteeing that there will be paper maps on site (but there might be).

Food:
There will not be food vending available on site for this event. Please bring food and water if you want it. There are fast food options and other restaurants in the local area.

End of day:
Cars must stop running on the pad at 4pm sharp. We'll do our best to get as many runs as possible during the operation hours from 9am to 4pm, though please be cognizant that this is our first test day at AMP and there may be hiccups. Please be patient, everyone working the event will be doing the best they can possibly do.

Departure courtesy:
There is a history of contentiousness with surrounding property owners and the track, please be aware of this as you exit the site. Please show the utmost respect and courtesy for the neighbors.

We're looking forward to a good event with smooth operations, please just be aware of the changes and work with us on this first test day!

I see. I'm waiting to hear back from him on a trade of a turbo for a tune. Someone owed me some money, gave me a turbo for a 6.0 power stroke, and john said he'd consider a trade. If he doesn't get a chance to get back to me today, maybe I'll have to swing by tomorrow and bug him after he does your car.

Ok so I am back home, and starting work on the car to try and get it finished up tonight and I could really use a hand. I think Smoketrees is busy so if anyone else is interested in lending a hand I would greatly appreciate it.

I get off work at 8:30. Sorry. I might drop by for a bit and hang if that's cool. I can give you a hand for a little bit.
