Because I have access to dealer tools and I've done this testing before...

This isn't my first rodeo

This will probably be the solution I go with but not until I see some solid 6-month reliability data from you early adopters. Should be enough time to work out the kinks.

Testing before, but not on this car?

Only ask cause I would really like to get a tune but don't want to wave my warranty good bye.

He has done alot of testing with subarus and a friend he works alot with is a subaru tech. He has given a car to his friend to run a full check on at the dealership (without telling him there was a tune on it) and the dealership was unable to tell there was a tune on the car.

I just want to say that John has been outstanding and extremely supportive. I am pretty new to car modification in general (And ECUs in particular), and he walked me through everything I needed to do. Then I called with one more question and woke him up, so I feel horrible.

I can say that the tune is everything he promised it would be. The torque dip is almost non-existent now, the car accelerates quicker, and you now have the freedom to shift when you like and not worry about the engine bogging down. The extended red line lets you hit 62mph in 2nd gear, which is very nice.

Overall, I am very happy with both the service and support. John earns every penny he makes.
