To meet injury ratings. The criteria for the tests fills a couple of large books. I have never been able to find the requirements and limits on the internet. It is all made very basic. There are hundreds of required limits for just about every single section of the car. It is crazy to try to read through.

Coupes are very limited, so I wasn't sure. What other thinks.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that hates the WRX seating position. It feels like an economy car imo. It's like you are stepping down on the pedals vs. forward like a sports car. It also just feels so big inside with such a large dash and what not.

I would buy a BRZ if I wrecked the FRS. Probably a zenki still though because I hate steering wheel controls.

The new WRX is a large sedan imo. Anything bigger qualifies as a boat lol

WRX seating position isn't that bad if you're used to driving the usual sedan and commuter vehicle. It's coming from an 86 or similar vehicles where it seems like crap. When I was looking for different vehicles and test driving everything the one I really didn't like the seats in was the Focus/Fiesta ST. For me that was worse than the positioning in the WRX.

Unless I am mistaken, 5mph bumpers are a thing in the US. Has to have no body damage for a 5mph 'crash' into a parked vehicle. Why? Beats me. Made a lot of US spec cars of a certain era look odd.

Actually, I think the Chiron needs to be modified with special bumpers for US sale...

Edit: lets see if this works...

Even Dodge can be called out for reusing the name on radically different cars.

I would LOVE to drive a car that looked like that.

Never owned a commuter car. Closest thing was a Mini Cooper and those seats were practically on the ground. If I drive my finacee's Accord for more then an hour I get fidgety lol.

Back in the mid 1970s, some imported cars had to either raise their bumpers or add vertical extensions to them, to comply with US requirements for bumper height.

Examples would be Triumph, MG and VW.

Which made them look quite ugly.

I totally know what you mean by pedal position... it’s so weird position. From 86/BRZ owner point of view.

Interesting that you gonna keep it in Zenki instead of Kouki. But I do understand what you mean by steering wheel controls.

Haha maybe, but now I’m used to very sporty low seating from 86/BRZ. Now I have these seats, it’s not helping lol

Also previously, I had Impreza coupe, so it doesn’t help at all w new WRX
