I emailed the sales manager at the dealership. He said December delivery, I just ordered first weekend of October. Im wondering if I was one of the first at that dealership to do an order. No emails from SOA nor have I called SOA yet. But alas it’s just an estimate.

Called SOA today and they couldn’t look me up without VIN or VON BUT said the info my dealer gave is the same system info they have. Does that sound correct? If so I might need to get my affairs in order before December ��

Howdy FT86 Club!

Ordered a BRZ in July (Base model, 6MT, Red, hence the signature lol). Wanted one since I first saw the concept car all those years ago.

Originally was supposed to be late October delivery, but has now slid to early November. No VIN yet. Can't wait!

Some guy on GR86dotORG got his Vin the same day it hit the port... Which was today. I believe the south east region cars are supposed to hit the port any moment, and no idea on the south west region... But I bet at this point we'll get VIN's when they hit the shore before being loaded on the truck or rail yard.

I believe my car will hit the Richmond, CA port, but no idea on any ship info for that one.

Dealer just notified me that my October delivery is now moved to early or mid-November and no VIN yet. I’m on the west coast and hoping it shows up unexpectedly this month. He did say VINs are starting to pop up. If anyone sees a red Limited on a truck headed to SoCal send them my way.

I can 100% confirm they can get your VON and order status.

I called them with no info besides the dealer and the car options/trim and the nice lady emailed me the VON. The next day the dealer randomly texted me a pic of the VON and it matched so they definitely have the capability.

I should note, I don’t have an email from SoA, but have the aforementioned VON and the sold-order has my email and name attached.

Gonna call my dealer tomorrow to see if they have anymore information, hoping my delivery date gets nudged up

Finally got an update on an incoming BRZ to the store…
It’s an automatic Limited that originally had an ETA in October. It’s now been pushed to November…no ETA date but we got the VIN which is 302.

As for the other 4, no updates including mine lol. I ordered 3 BRZ’s well before we ordered this automatic one (2 weeks apart). Others still showing October ETA but will likely update to November.

Also I’m in the Bay Area, NorCal.

Definitely delayed which may seem why Toyota hasn’t announced pricing or projected delivery dates too.

Glad I went BRZ! Can't imagine what date 86 orders will be estimated for. Maybe November of next year lol.

I’m just wondering…they’re made in the same factory but it’s Subaru’s factory which means during a shortage like this they will definitely prioritize their own product lol.

On a side note, we’ve seen new BRZ owners in Japan.
Is the GR86 even released for sale in Japan?

I haven't seen any more VINs populate since late last week. Might drive by the port tonight to see if the ship is in yet. Mine is still slotted to process on Thursday and truck out on Friday. Killin me that I'm out of town for a wedding starting Thursday. Will have to pick it up next week.

EDIT: I lied. A few more matched today.
