I'll be using the GReddy Spectrum Elite 2.75" catback for this.

Pretty sure Subaru has one before every single turbo on cars without air pumps.

Which is great until it rains or you wash your car.

The lower turbo mount in wet/flooding climates is a concern with heat build up on the turbo housing, then immediately dousing the turbo in water...it was mentioned earlier, thus my inquiry regardin this design for us in flooding Houston. It's a very minor risk likely, but just thought I'd ask.

To other Houstonians - any of you Norwegian and just bought a blue BRZ?

Jesus, er I mean Don, the setup looks great though! Thanks for your hard work on this.

I'll work out some kind of splash shield for those who require it.

I'm not used to flooding. We have drainage systems here!

Our water table is too high and it floods too easily. A splash guard should do. I, too, was worried about the instant hot-to-cold dousing. Rust & popped welds.

My C-one hood had plastic covers for the vents and the hood scoop. The vents were removable and you would remove the vents and put the plastic cover underneath the vent and put back on the hood. As for the hood scoop the plastic cover would just mount underneath the scoop. Never had to worry about the rain.

No kidding man, I almost just lost it about an hour ago in my Camaro and I've got super intelligent traction control and 295's in the back. It's really really really annoying and causes lots of accidents.
