I definately think there will be 3 different versions. the baby FT86, the high reving 2.0 and a turbo version. im counting on the middle one.

i really hope they can get at least the 2.0L in the 20K range cause i DONT want to have to settle for a gutless 1.5 inline 4

There's always swapps available, and if a version comes with a boxer engine, then you could almost swap either one you like....EJ25......EJ20 what ever you like

I think they will make the baby priced in the same area as the current scion (18995) since they said it might take away from tC sales.. but i think the middle trim with the 2.0L boxer engine should be priced cheaper than a GTi and around the price of the current civic Si (22,205) at most.... since they are thinking about turboing the next gen Si..

Oh right the hatchback. Light weight, 2200lbs.
If it even makes it to America it would be at least 2012 before this thing is done. 1 1/2 liter and hatchback with RWD has my attention. Sorry guys but I'm too practical for my own good.

Thats why I will more then likely be cross-shopping the ft86 with the new focus st, since that will be closer to my time frame to buy anyways, sometime in 2012. Hopefully similarly priced around 25k also
