Took 10 days to update from In Production to In Transit with VIN showing (21/7 - 31/7).

Mine showed up when it changed to 'In Transit'. But mine skipped straight from In Production -> In Transit, so it might show up earlier...

What's your planned production month? GT's have a shorter wait time I think.
Mine's also going to be Velocity Orange...good choice!

Ordered a GTS86 MT on 23rd June from Southside Toyota here in Brisbane, didn't hear anything from the toyota dealer for 2 weeks so I asked for some information and they basically said they don't have any for me and won't be able to give me any details on the timing until September, and that is when I will be set up with my tracking number. Over a month since I've ordered and I don't have the slightest clue on what is happening. Pretty poor effort I think.

Long story but had an 86 on order, which wasn't due till Xmas, got pissed off with the whole spare wheel delete thing so rang around and found a dealer that had this car on order but not sold or allocated so put a deposit on it. I have only had a deposit on it for a couple of weeks and it was already 'in production' when I got my login details.

Welcome to the club! The dealers know nothing, the ones that suggest they do are just blowing smoke up your arse. We are all at the mercy of Subaru's build allocation system.

Mixed emotions on the removal of the spare wheel, I'll be getting the kit, wasn't too happy about it, but I'll have to deal when I get my car.
Hopefully the 4 weeks will go quick for you

So walked into my dealership today to have a chat.
Well basically he showed me the list of cars that are on order, and the est build time they have from Toyota. Mine is saying it will be built in Oct (ordered mid June, the weekend after release). He pretty much said to me this is what I see and does not reflect the actual build times, I cannot guarantee you will have the car this year.

So. Fuck.

I have a (oh what a) feeling that he only said that because he didn't want to get my hopes up, which I appreciate. I can bomb out and get my deposit back at any time now. So I'll just have to wait and see I s'pose. A fucking tease walking out with a red 86 staring right at me
