Did JR change the pulley sizes for the C30 and/or C38? I ordered new idler and tensioner pulleys and to my surprise they were larger then my kit originals.

I swapped my belt and pulleys so my squeak is gone. No more tensioner bounce either.

How much larger are they? Pictures? Measurements?

Jackson Racing - care to chime in on this?

It has not changed that I am aware of. Both kits use a 110mm diameter pulley in CARB trim.

Did you have a HBP before?

My answer won't help you, I bought mine lightly used from another local owner and had it installed along with JRSC kit and various other things all together. Visit the P3cars site for gauge options, and ask a local installer.

No HBP. I'll measure tonight.. rough estimate, 1cm in diameter more.

The center of my originals are red. The new are black

Idler pulley sizes are the same size they have always been.

Ah I see I was mostly curious as to how complex installation would be. I'll call up my local shop

Links?

Physics concepts vs physic..al measurements can make a big difference. Physics concepts say if I jump the Earth moves away from my starting position in space then we both recollide. Physically measurements or predictions would show the distance it moves is utterly negligible. Likewise, I get the theory on FMIC vs W2AIC, but how much does it matter, or rather, under what conditions would heatsoak really occur?

Is this the same for the auto, or is it weaker or stronger?
