Reminds me of seeing Total Recall in 1990. As we are leaving the theater, two guys behind us are talking:

And it bugs the HECK out of me when people pretend-play instruments in movies.

Only part of Sherlock I really couldn't watch. Except in the first season when he really did play, quite horribly, but real.

I get pretty annoyed with fake tech stuff too. I guess it's more believable to people that don't understand... just like the news has to be fake now to be believed by certain people?

War movies, I have no context for annoyance. But I can't watch them for other reasons as often as not.

How can actual scientists and engineers look straight at a camera and discuss the topic without bursting into flames? SMH
