You know what I honestly really like the way the torque comes on in my car. It just goes faster and faster as the revs climb I enjoy the feeling.

I will have to agree with you there, I had the TRD Tacoma and it felt like it had TORQUE and then nothing as the revs climbed... and then when it would get in 3rd gear it felt like it had neither power nor torque.

Only 2 "muscle cars" I would consider are the newish z28 camaro and the new gt350r. Those are still $70k and I would much rather buy so many other cars for $70k. The worst part about people comparing the FRS to other cars is that I was able to purchase my FRS for 20k OTD.

But yeah, I have to agree with you. And I think I saw someone hating on the FRS for being called a sports car. I don't think a lot of people really get the idea of a sports car, I feel like. Why no regular GT, though? I think if you pick up one that's one or two years old, it's totally worth the dough. I would have bought one if I could have afforded it, but the FRS was far more budget friendly. Personally, I hope to V8 swap it one day. Mwuhahahaha. |

The entire new Mustang line is pretty nice. I cross-shopped it with the BRZ, but the Mustang feels like driving a grand tourer, even with the performance pack. It's the lightest of the three Detroit offerings, so I have very little interest in the other two.
The GT350 is very cool, obviously, but that's getting into C7 territory, and I'd rather have a C7. |

I test drove one of the new GT's and I wasn't all that blown away from it. It still felt like a boat, even with the new IRS it didn't seem to handle or transition well, it also had typical mustang body roll. It moves, but I expected it to do that. It's and improvement over the last gen mustangs but when I was done with the drive the guy told me they wanted 42k before taxes for that car, I told them I was no longer interested and walked out. Too expensive and for them trying to make it feel "sportier" I still wouldnt take it to a track nor wouldn't even think about taking it to an autoX.
