Well, when my father got up into his mid 90's, he couldn't seem to remember when and if he took his many pills.

So, I got him one of those programmable, automatic pill dispensers.

Once you loaded it up, set the time and programed it, it would dispense the pills into a little tray.

He wouldn't use it ...... because he didn't trust it to remember correctly ......

Then he didn't know what time it was to take his pills because he couldn't see his watch....... so, I got him a "talking watch". WOW! That was a hit ....... he was always punching it to tell people what time it was.

My father was a member of a tank killer team in North Africa during WWII and I think he let too many enemy tanks get too close before his team would zap them with a bazooka. He said he would wait till he got a good shot at the soft underbelly of the tank .......

THE END

PS - a bazooka picture for you non military types

So...

If the shooting brake picture of the twins stays on the home page long enough, will it become retro and therefor cool again?

I could've gone my whole life not seeing that picture. Now I'm a little grumpy.

I now have 16 weeks of time off. Officially done banking over time hours.

Amazing the difference in pay between a 40 hour pay week and a 70-90 hour week.

OK, I have a dilemma. It's a cold, wet day here in Puyallup.

The two older granddaughters are off to school. The toddler has a dry diaper and is taking a mid-morning nap with ma-ma.

Should I make a large pot of chili or make a run to Costco for paper products or keep dinking on this forum or ...... maybe I will just kick back in my recliner and nap on it ......
