@QuikSilveRX-8 Nice pickups for a thrift store! Even if they're used, they're still better quality than more recent retros. A guy here picked up the Laney Vs, and they were better in person than they were in pictures. Still going to try holding out for the Doernbecher Xs. Highly doubtful if I'll be able to get them though.

The Bodegas are sick! I'm surprised you found them at a thrift store.

Anyway... I'm considering on selling my sneaker collection. I hate myself for even thinking about the idea, but maybe its time to let most of them go and get some money back I guess.

I used to have over a hundred pairs of sneakers and these were the high end original stuff, pennies, jordans, air max's, etc. Even though I have a well paying job now vs back then (in HS), I can't bring myself to buy any more sneakers like that. And the worst feeling is getting an 'investment' and taking that first step outside and watching the crease and tread wear grow - return value just plummets haha.

That was a while ago for me. I haven't purchased a pair of shoes that I wouldn't wear in quite a while.

I am getting a vibe that P-Rods store(primitive) in Encino might be releasing the SB Dunk x "112" DJ Clark Kent early on the 23rd, this Saturday; instead of the posted date for Black Friday.

Ohh dang, I kinda want those. Basically just SB shops are going to get those right? There's one local to me that I'm hoping gets them. I heard that they might be releasing on the 26th, but with SB releases, it seems like they're random.

I kept visiting PRIMITIVE's webpage and it's giving away hints. Paul Rodriguez owns the shop and it's guaranteed they will have it once they announce the release tonight. The other SB stores will have it next week on Black Friday.

Dang I missed it! News just came out yesterday that they're releasing on Nike.com black friday. I guess I'll have to take my chances.

Totally missed out on the Doernbecher Xs for the RSVP and the nike.com release. What a bummer.

Hard to believe that folks are spending hundreds on a pair of sneakers. I thought back in the 80-90's when I purchased a pair of Otomix for $100 that was way expensive but $400 and up. Wow is all I can say.

By the way they are still $117....Sweet great Weight Training shoes

The release this weekend was only for that store, and online orders were not available. Official release IS on the 26th. Will NIKE.com carry them to sell online? I've never bought SBs online through them.

Yep, they're coming out on the 29th at 8AM EST, they tweeted about it on Sunday. I was surprised too.

Looks like Premier changed their release to the 29th too.
