Drift sauce as I like to call snow. Will be taking the awd Saab out instead of the FRS

Just a bit of slush on the ground in Mont Co MD, but not that slippery. Lame.

I loaded up on ~150lbs of salt and threw it in the trunk anyway. Glad I did cuz once I crossed the Legion bridge and got off the highway there was plenty of standing snow everywhere in Fairfax.

Did the ballast in the back make a big difference?

Just left the office early to come work remotely in case the storm gets bad. On the way home, in the more slushy conditions then the other night, I was TCS'in for sure. This car is not for novices to drive in the snow, that is for sure.

On a side note, the TCS worked really well!

You can definitely feel the rear being more planted and stable. That said, it's easy to break traction intentionally.

Nice, I might have to pick up some sand/salt bags. Not too worried about oversteer, but there are a couple of uphills where I think the weight over the drive-wheels would come in handy.

Quite a bit more snow than I expected today... Damn weatherman. Getting the car home was fun and exciting but it did just fine even on stockers. Really wish my truck was out of the shop... It should not take 2 weeks to fix a damn recall. >.<

Still had my Primacy HPs on this am and had to drive to work after the snow started and before the rain started. Wasn't too bad on the main roads but getting to them through the back roads in Oakton and Vienna was a PITA. Got a buddy mounting my winter tires on my old vw wheels today and putting them on before I go home tonight.

quick question. To remove the snow without hurting the paint, it's a good idea to not use any bristles or hard plastics?

I just used my gloves and my towels to remove the snow. Any you guys use anything different? I seen that some ppl use like a foam shovel.

I would like to know about that as well. I don't usually carry a leaf blower in my car all the time. Is using that snow scraper and the brush that come with it fine? And yes(sarcasm), scraping the snow off the whole car.
