hey guys I'm new here. honestly have never been that into cars till I saw that I could acually own a nice car when I finish school. my dream would be to own an fr-s after I get a job but before I move out I'd love to get it customized like some of the guys on this forums. I don't know a thing about cars which is a bit embarrassing but I'd love to learn. seeing some builds I really don't understand at all what torque is or any of those words. could someone point me to the right direction by sending me somewhere off in this forum or a website where I can learn what's good for when I customize my dream car?

(google is your friend) As for builds, you can check out the sub group "technical topics" or use the search function on the forums to find a specific thing. Hope you reach your goal of getting a FR-S and customizing it! Best of luck! |

Hi, My name is Bradd. I started a Member intro thread here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45331
I plan on picking up my BRZ in March, or at least that's when it is expected to arrive. I ordered a Limited WRB 2014 BRZ with a few "port install" options. I've already done a lot of research on the car, and have a mod list and a separate account full of money to spend! Until then I'll be lurking around the forums, poking my nose in your threads, and asking questions if I have any! Good to be here and hope to become a part of the community! |

.First off, in my opinion, for general fun driving, the FR-S is quite good right out of the box. Now, what I would recommend, is to drive it for a while and learn its strengths and limitations (and yours). Then decide what you want to do with the car (motor tour/daily driver/autocross/track/ or just look pretty). This experience should lead you to the types of modifications which would make your car do what you want it to do. I feel that the FR-S is designed to be a good, all around fun car, right off the dealers lot .... ![]() humfrz |

i drive through the city but would never think about parking it on the street... ever... you really need to watch for potholes too, those things can be mind jarring if you hit one... dont ask me how i know...

Just joined but got my mt Firestorm end of July. Love the car, my first "performance" car, already spending money on it, coilovers, 5axis spoiler, sharkfin... and now I need to figure out how to post pics, lol!
