Husker741… correct. If your dealer doesn’t dig modifications, remove the parts and there’s no footprint they’ve been there. If the dealer is ok with modifications (some of our biggest customers are dealers), leave the kit in place as it doesn’t interfere with anything they want to do when servicing the car and whatever they’re doing doesn’t affect the Unichip.

MapsQ folder update… the 92 Octane and 89 Octane maps are updated. Don’t blow a gasket when you open the folders and see more folders. Details to follow.

Cheers
I concur in the safety tip. Course it was my own damn fault. Live and learn.

whoever is using the flux2, I'll post a pic of where I routed it. There's no way the wires will get frayed or the connectors will get pulled out, and it's in the perfect spot for when I do decide to go FI and run a pillar pod.

Just custom mount it like I did (err more of a permanent solution) and you won't have any issues with wiring:

It's now bad if you integrate it into the dash. I thought of having a piece molded for it if I go to car shows, but I'm all about weight savings at this point

It's not just about aesthetics. But power. People of asked me what it did. I said it helped the car go faster. And they said 'cool'. Nuff' said.

Believe you me. I thought of various mounting options, including it mounted to the right of the radio. Thought that was too far to see and control. If they could shrink the size down dramatically I'd be up for that. I made a custom bracket/mixed with the suction cup bracket to affix it sturdily to the dash.

It works. It's not pretty. But it works.

And no Taxi cab remarks.

Unichip and download cable. You can flip between two tunes with switch. If you want to see OBDII, etc. and flip between five tunes, you need Flux2.

They have the flux2, a 2way switch (no display), and a 5way switch (no display).

If you dont want the flux2 order it with the switch you want...one of the benefits of the switches is you can change maps on the fly...just remember which # is associated with which map. Honestly, i find myself using the flux 2 instead of the switch ...but i like seeing my timing and fuel etc.

I just got the unichip and download cable. The special with the flux 2 was tempting but since I run the Torque app via a wireless adapter on the OBD II, I didn't want to add the flux 2. I also didn't know where I'd put it. It's a nice add on though.
