First ever new car here too! I’ve been that ‘buy a used German car for 1/4 what it retailed for’ guy for 15 years. BMW hasn’t made anything in 10 years that I want, so maybe a warranty will be nice this time lol.

I think part of what makes the wait seem long is the excitement of finally putting my money where my mouth is and voting with my wallet. I’m voting lightweight NA sports car. I hope this car does well again, because if it wasn’t for Toyota and Subaru this segment would likely be completely gone.

I've had tons of new cars, but this is my first car like this. I've owned 9 Mustangs, and a focus ST. I'm a big track/autocross guy and I finally decided to go with my heart and ignore my regular car friends. (I'm tired of watching the STX gang have so much fun every month, and I want some of that fun too lol)

That’s awesome. I think it’ll do well.

Got extremely lucky and found two dealers in my region who have unreserved allocations coming in next month for limited manual models, both in my first and second color choices with almost the same exact options as the one in my saved build.

I haven't decided on the color I want but I'll be making my decision tomorrow morning so hopefully I can end my 3 month long streak of being car-less soon lmao.

Woah! With that luck you ought to buy some lotto tickets. What colors, if you don't mind me asking?

Crystal White Pearl and Magnetite Gray Metallic, I can't decide between the two.

I'm not really a fan of boring colors like that but none of the other colors really look that great on this or the GR86 for me at least, I am curious about Track bRed on the GR86 but I can live without it haha. More wrap potential with CWP than that.

I'm definitely open to sharing which dealer has an open spot tomorrow morning so if anyone wants to know and isn't too particular about their build just hit my PMs.

For me white is always the answer lol. Coolest in the summer, looks clean longer than most colors, hides damage well.

I'm probably doing CWP this time around, but have done World Rally Blue (STI) and Graphite Gray Pearl (WRX) in the past. The gray hides dirt well, and wasn't as "in your face" as the WRB. It also sparkled when washed. I almost did gray this time too, but I don't think you can go wrong with any of the colors. CWP isn't a pure white and I kinda wish it was.

Ended up getting my order in, MSRP w/ add-ons @ $32,159 and $35k OTD

Magnetic Gray Metallic / Limited / 6SP
All Weather Floor Liners
Cargo Tray
LED Dome Light
Door Edge Guards
Bumper Applique
Door Scuff Protector
Vortex Generator

Didn't want the last 4 items but they're all easily removable so w/e and I can just get the homelink mirror and red STI button after I get it.

November arrival, and I confirmed it with SOA and the rep said it was on the way and scheduled for next month. The salesman said it could possibly be delayed until December given the current situation though. So we'll see.

If anyone wanted a 6SP CWP Limited though Randy Marion Subaru in NC has one unreserved allocation coming in next month too

Yeah true I forgot about CWP kind of being an off white sort of color. I think I'll be happy with MGM even though I really wanted to recreate the GReddy GR86 look with CWP but w/e, I can always wrap it + it'll be easier to match MGM than it would be pearl white

Did anyone else get an e-mail from SOA after you ordered about a $500 voucher for parts, accessories, or service to be sent within 15 days of delivery?

Did you get one? Subaru supposedly wasn’t doing this for BRZ orders.
