Must be a unique-state kind of thing. 2 years ago on my way to Hatteras Beach, NC, I discovered that people eat boiled peanuts, and the stores selling such were the equivalent of finding a Dunkin Donuts every two blocks in New England.

This hit me pretty hard. I grew up fifteen minutes from there. I remember touring their facility on field trips as a child. Still handmade in the same old brick fruit shed.

Yea, very Southern thing. Not something I could ever develop a taste for myself, mushy peanuts no thanks. Oh and it's much more frequent than two blocks. Pretty much every convenience store, gas station, roadside stand sells them, at least in NC/SC/GA.

Today I learned that I should listen to my wife, I thought I had lost my log book.. without it I couldn't get the car taxed for road use.. She kept saying that it's in a particular place, I looked but not hard enough!! Doh!!!
