I suspect that until the injectors are tuned, not enough fuel willgo in to make up for the power loss of burning e85

Do not use e85 before the tune. Car will not be happy!

How about running 93 on the e85 tune? Or do we have to bring the cable with us to the gas station? LOL

For those of you that want to do self tuning - they will have that as well.

Pro Tuning support for BRZ will come first, then user tuning.
Any details on this eventual user tuning? Will it require a new/additional cable or just new software?

It doesn't work either way.. If you run e85 on a 93 octane tune you are going to starve the motor of fuel, if you run 93 on a e85 tune you are going to flood it.

Their is at least a 28% difference in fueling between standard e10 gasoline and e85.

It's not on the top of the list of things to-do

For now you'll need to bring your cable.

But soon we'll have map switching that will support pump & e85 maps

With the factory knock sensors, how much knock have you run into and how sensitive do you believe the factory system to be?

Most tuning is being done on 92-93 octane, but if someone put in the wrong gas does the tune still maintain ability to retard timing to a safe point, or have computers not gotten to that point yet?

These ecus are pretty smart..

Normally pull timing right before it knocks.. It active knock control not reactive

Launch control for the auto would be nice.

Does the ECU have any control over or communication with the trans computer that may allow some programming modifications?
