Side skirts underplates
Made smooth panels to cover all that turbulent area between the TRD side skirts and JDM panels. Basically the whole pinch weld area except kept space to fit jack stands.
This panel was cut in half to make Two 4'x1' pieces. 5.3lbs These were used in the middle. ![]() Then Two smaller Pieces to finish the rear and connect to the JDM gas covers and almost meet the Verus suspension covers. 1.9lbs ![]() then used .04" Aluminum to make the front. This is a little thicker and sturdier than the .02" I was using but still bendable. I designed this to block off as much air entranceways on the rear of the front fenderwell. The only hole is for the jack stands. .9lbs ![]() ![]() Attached all good with alum rivnets added about 8.5lbs total if you include screws. ![]() ![]() new weight 2445.5 LBS Journey to complete bottom smoothness almost complete hoping I don't go over 2450lbs |
