Well got the tires on today. Love the look of the paint. Will be short lived unfortunately as cracks in paint already visible. Oh well was worth a try.

Saw a WRB BRZ on Terry Fox near Centrum. I like nice spring days, lots of nice cars out.

If you waved out your window that was me picking up some salt stain cleaner at crappy tire... Man those stains are a pain to get out.

Has anyone here had this problem and taken it into a dealor here to get it fixed?

I've heard that some dealers wont do anything about American TSBs.

Back in the driveway

Installed the summer wheels, smoked side markers and the rest on the Diode Dynamics LEDs now that it is warm enough to work in the driveway.

Swapped out the stock air filter for a Cosworth dry filter. Confident the 245/40/17s can keep the extra HP under control.

P.S. The mighty Jock river is running just a little high. Did not wash the car as the rain gods seem very angry this week.

I'm back on the Road!!
Nothing like the sound of starting your car for the
first time after a long winter.
The car is striped of all emblems but looks kinda cool.
Also running with original OEM rims and tires for now.

Your BRZ looks very aggressive now!
Any issues installing side marker? I'm about to install
JDM clear side markers.

Thanks. The side markers are easy to remove once you figure out how to release the spring near the top front.
Use a small flat head screw driver pointed up just behind the front bracket.
Release the spring, pull the side marker to the side and the electrical connector pulls from the bumper.
Alternate Procedure for Removal of Front Side Marker Lamp

All is well in the world again!

Got around to cleaning the garage after the move and finally made space for the car, and the summer wheels are back on!

Felt so stockish all winter, spring better be here to stay now! (just noticed that I have a bit more wear on the summer tires than anticipated, maybe good for street and only 1 more lapping day)

I'm waiting for my brake stuff to arrive before putting the summers on.

Given the forecast overnight lows this week it looks like that won't be such a bad idea.

I went with WinMax W4 from CSG.

I'm also waiting on a Motive power bleeder as well. Assuming everything arrives this week I know what I am doing on Friday.

Doing the tranny and diff this weekend along with a full detail, especially interior from winter driving.

GT6 Enduro Wednesday night - Mazda,Mazda!!

Hi Guys,
I said a while back that I'd try to post the upcoming Enduro details before the weekend, but I'm late.

Figure the best is to use a familiar car on a familiar track.

So we'll do Laguna Seca with the Miata Touring Car (same one we used for Brands Hatch awhile back).
Should not need fuel, but Greg you should put some in anyways...

Car: Mazda Roadster Touring Car
PP is 463 and 471 after oil change
keep everything stock
can paint the car and wheels and add your own number if you like (<< do this)
Race Medium and Race Hard Tires

Enduro Track: Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca
· 20 laps
· Car: Mazda Roaster Touring Car
· Boost - off
· Tire/Fuel Wear - Very fast
· Slipstream - weak
· Penalty - STRONG
· Require Tire Type Change (only 1 pitstop necessary)
· Max PP - 471
· Tuning - prohibited
· Max Tire - Race Medium
